India's fastest woman Dutee Chand Tuesday said she will take legal shelter against people blackmailing and criticising her over revelation of being in a "same-sex" relationship. "I will take shelter of the law against persons and organisations," Dutee told reporters, alleging that some media organisations were on "overdrive" to harm her by intruding into her private life. The Asian Games silver medalist said she had kept the identity of her partner a secret, but still some channels had dug it out and revealed the name and picture. "One should not poke their nose into the private life of other persons," said Dutee. Myanmar: Explosion during bomb disposal training injures 8 police personnel
At least eight police personnel, including a trainer, were wounded after an explosion during a bomb disposal training here on Tuesday.The mishap occurred when an officer stepped on a plastic M14 anti-personnel mine which was mistaken for a dummy designated for training, according to Anadolu Agency.None of the wounded people are in a critical condition, an officer said."As it was designed for demonstration purposes, the explosion was not that strong," he added.

A 31-year-old man has lodged a police complaint alleging he found glass shards in his burger at an outlet of a well-known global fast food chain in Pune city of Maharashtra, police said on Tuesday. The complainant, Sajid Pathan, an auto-rickshaw driver, went to the Burger King outlet located on Fergusson Road here on May 15 with his friends to have lunch. "According to the complainant, he ordered burgers, fries and col drinks and while having a bite,he suddenly felt something in the throat and also experienced a sharp pain," an official at the Deccan Gymkhana police station said.
