Azad Engineering Ltd has filed draft papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise Rs 740 crore through an initial public offering (IPO). The company's IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to Rs 240 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 500 crore by a promoter and investors, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP). The OFS consists of the sale of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 170 crore by promoter Rakesh Chopdar, equity shares worth up to Rs 280 crore by Piramal Structured Credit Opportunities Fund and equity shares to the tune of up to Rs 50 crore by DMI Finance. Proceeds from the fresh issues will be used for funding capital expenditure of the company, payment of debt, and general corporate purposes, as per the draft papers filed on Friday. Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd, which is engaged in automotive dealerships, has filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise funds through an initial share sale. This is the company's second attempt to go public. Earlier, the company filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) in August 2021 for floating an Initial Public Offering (IPO) but deferred the maiden public issue amid uncertain market conditions. According to the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed on Thursday, the IPO comprises fresh issuance of equity shares worth Rs 250 crore and an Offer For Sale (OFS) of 1.42 crore equity shares by Banyantree Growth Capital II, LLC. Besides, the company is looking to raise Rs 50 crore in a pre-IPO placement round. If such placement is undertaken, the fresh issue size will be reduced. Agilus Diagnostics Ltd has filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise funds through an initial public offering (IPO). The maiden public issue is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of 1.42 crore equity shares by International Finance Corp, NYLIM Jacob Balls India Fund III LLC, and Resurgence PE Investments Ltd, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP). Since the IPO is entirely an OFS, the entire proceeds will go to the existing shareholders. Agilus Diagnostics, formerly known as SRL Ltd, is one of the largest diagnostics service providers in terms of number of laboratories and the second largest in terms of revenue from operations in India, as of financial year ended March 31, 2023, according to a Crisil report. Updater Services IPO subscribed 2.9 times on final day of subscription

The initial public offer of integrated facilities management company Updater Services was subscribed 2.90 times on the final day of subscription on Wednesday. The initial share sale got bids for 3,47,41,450 shares against 1,19,99,999 shares on offer, as per NSE data. The portion for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 4.48 times while the quota for retail individual investors (RIIs) received 1.38 times subscription. The non-institutional investors part got subscribed 85 per cent. The Rs 640 crore IPO had a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 400 crore and an offer for sale of up to 80 lakh equity shares by a promoter and existing shareholders. The price range for the company's IPO was Rs 280-300 a share. Updater Services has raised Rs 288 crore from anchor investors. Inspire Films to launch IPO during Sept 25-27, plans to raise Rs 21.20 cr

Inspire Films Ltd, a television content company, will launch an initial public offering (IPO) to raise Rs 21.22 crore. The IPO, which will open for subscription during September 25-27, comprises 35.98 lakh shares for Rs 59 a piece with a face value of Rs 10 each, said a statement from the company. A total of 10.24 lakh shares will be allotted to anchor investors and 6.82 lakh shares are reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). While 5.14 lakh shares are reserved for high net-worth individuals (HNIs), 11.98 lakh shares are meant for retail investors and 1.80 lakh shares for market makers. "Following the IPO, the company's shares will be listed on the NSE Emerge platform on October 9, 2023," it added. The proceeds of the IPO will help Inspire Films to cater to the company's working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes facilitating strategic growth and development and covering the expenses. Sai Silks IPO subscribed 33 % on day 2 of bidding, RIIs subscribed 26%

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of ethnic apparel retailer Sai Silks (Kalamandir) was subscribed 33 per cent on the second day of offer on Thursday. The initial share sale received bids for 1,27,49,966 shares against 3,84,86,309 shares on offer, as per NSE data. The category for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) received 51 per cent subscription while the quota for non-institutional investors got subscribed 27 per cent. The portion for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) was subscribed 26 per cent. The public issue has a fresh issue of up to Rs 600 crore and an offer for sale of up to 2,70,72,000 equity shares. The price range for the offer is Rs 210-222 a share. At the upper end of the price band, the IPO will fetch about Rs 1,201 crore.
