Bahraich (Uttar Pradesh), May 08 (ANI): A woman delivered a baby on floor in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. She delivered a baby in the district hospital of Bahraich. Baby was declared dead after allegedly being not attended by the hospital staff on time. Speaking to ANI, doctor said, "Woman's family was late in bringing her to the hospital, baby was born dead because they were late and baby came out before we could shift her to the labour room." Family members of the woman alleged that due to the negligence of district hospital, the baby died.

Bhind (MP), May 08 (ANI): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday addressed a public rally in Madhya Pradesh. During his public speech, he said that Congress didn't invent 'chowkidar chor hai' slogan, it the common people, who invented the slogan. He said, "A reporter asked me how you came up with 'chowkidar chor hai' slogan, I told him that during a speech in Chhattisgarh, when I said 'chowkidar' then youth, who were standing there said 'chor hai.' This slogan didn't invented by Congress or Rahul Gandhi, this is the slogan of the countrymen."

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), May 08 (ANI): Indian Association for the Blind came up with a unique idea for visually impaired in Tamil Nadu's Madurai. They came out with 2 monthly magazines in braille. The press is equipped with advanced printing machines for printing better copies. It can print about 650 characters in a minute and it takes just about five minutes to print a copy of the 64-page-magazines. These Tamil magazines in braille have about 200 subscribers each across Tamil Nadu.

Bhopal (MP), May 08 (ANI): Congress leader Digvijaya Singh held a roadshow today in Bhopal. It was alleged that Police personnel were seen in civil uniform wearing saffron scarves at Digvijaya's roadshow. However, allegations were later denied by DIG Bhopal. He said, "We and the organisers of the event had enrolled volunteers, and we have no say in as to what volunteers wear. No police personnel wore scarves of any color."

The man posed as an Anti-Corruption Bureau Officer and demanded a sum of Rs 50,000 from her. The woman called him on the pretext of giving the money to get him arrested. Police investigation is underway. According to Police official, "She complained that a man was asking for Rs 50,000 on the pretext of helping her out with a family problem.
