Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Apr 21 (ANI): In an exclusive interview to ANI, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik revealed that he has no 'national ambitions' while reaffirming his allegiance to the development of the state. He said, "My interest is to stay here and see to the state's development and welfare. I have no national ambitions. Any party or coalition who supports the development of Odisha will have our support."
Barmer (Rajasthan), Apr 21 (ANI): While addressing a public rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Rajasthan's Barmer on Sunday said,"India has stopped the policy of getting scared of Pakistan's threats. Our party didn't have sufficient numbers so he thought he would get support of BJP. I did not think it was a good idea and did not support him due to financial dealings of his company." The Odisha CM also questioned the credibility of companies owned by Baijayant Panda.

Puri (Odisha), Apr 21 (ANI): Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said the BJP will wrest the Puri Lok Sabha seat and the seven assembly seats from the BJD. Goyal further accused the ruling party in Odisha of keeping the state poor in the last 19 years, and said the state government didn't even forward central government's schemes to help poor people of the state.
Bengaluru (Karnataka), Apr 21 (ANI): The infamous Bellandur Lake in Bengaluru on Sunday was frothing with toxic foam yet again. The lake has spilled toxic foam many times in the recent past and on several occasions the lake also caught fire. As per the Karnataka Lake Development Authority, Bellandur Lake is the largest of the 262 lakes and tanks in Bengaluru and accumulates about 40 per cent of the city's sewage. In 2017, the sorry state of the lake forced the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to take the matter into cognizance.

As far as nuclear issues are concern we already have some kind of agreement. I just think we need to take this forward a little, Pakistan nuclear weapons are primarily focused on India."
Colombo (Sri Lanka), Apr 21 (ANI): More than 150 people have been killed and over 400 were injured in eight blasts that took place across country's capital city Colombo. Police said that the eighth blast was suicide bomb. The bombings have left an ending pain in the hearts of Sri Lankans who are yet to cope with the multiple bombings. Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe said that at times like these, outflow of funds is something which is expected for a short term after the attacks.

New Delhi, Apr 21 (ANI): In an unexpected turn of events in the death of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, son of late former Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Chief Minister ND Tiwari. His mother Ujjwala Tiwari on Sunday accused his dead son's wife Apoorva of grabbing his property. Ujjwala claimed that Apoorva, who met Rohit in March 2017 through a matrimonial site, and her family, has always showed extra interest in the financial activities of Rohit. Rohit died earlier this week, but his autopsy report showed that his death was an 'unnatural' one and he was possibly strangulated.

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) Apr 21 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said that BJP leader Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is a habitual offender and claimed that her name had come up in a stabbing incident. "Pragya Thakur's nature was like a criminal, 19 years ago her name was involved in stabbing incidents, she used to always quarrel, therefore from the beginning her nature was quarrelsome," Baghel told media in Raipur, where he also held a roadshow for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

New Delhi, Apr 21 (ANI): After Congress leader Digvijaya Singh said that the 'Hindutva' word is not in his dictionary, BJP national spokesperson Nalin Kohli said that there was nothing surprising in it as the former is the one, who said the term 'Hindu terror' and so his anti-Hindu stance is well known. Speaking on the apparent rift within the grand alliance in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, Kohli said there was no 'grand alliance' in the first place and it was just a notional concept that could never take off.
