RJD staring at massive defeat in Bihar: GVL Narasimha Rao on Rabri Devi's allegations

New Delhi, Apr 21 (ANI): Reacting to RJD leader Rabri Devi's allegations that the Bihar and Central government are trying to get her husband Lalu Prasad Yadav poisoned, BJP national spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao on Sunday said that the RJD is staring at a massive defeat in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and thus, making such "absurd" allegations to gain sympathy of the voters. Rao added that there were already infighting within the grand alliance as Tejashwi Yadav has not attended a single rally of Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

129 killed, over 300 injured in multiple explosions in Sri Lanka

Colombo (Sri Lanka), Apr 21 (ANI): At least 129 people have been killed and more than 300 injured in multiple blasts at three churches and three hotels in Sri Lankan capital of Colombo, news agency AFP reported. As various Sri Lankan media reported that tourists could be among the dead, Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted that she was in constant touch with the Indian High Commissioner in Colombo.

New Delhi, Apr 21 (ANI): A recent study claims that smoking during pregnancy can have negative health impacts. According to researchers smoking during pregnancy can result in low birth weight, delayed intrauterine development, preterm birth, infant mortality, and long-term developmental delays. The details were published in the Journal of JAMA Network Open. "Of concern, though, given the substantial benefits of smoking cessation during pregnancy, is the proportion of pre-pregnancy smokers who quit smoking during pregnancy has remained essentially stagnant since 2011," explains lead author Samir Soneji. The investigators sought to assess the probability of preterm birth among expectant mothers who smoked before pregnancy and quit at the start or during pregnancy. New Delhi, Apr 21 (ANI): According to the reports by The Verge, Amazon is now asking its delivery drivers to take selfies, in a bid to reduce fraud. Using facial recognition, the company will verify drivers' identities to make sure they are who they say they are. The new alterations appeared on the Amazon Flex app to drivers, notifying them that they require clicking a selfie before continuing work.
