Delhi girl raises her voice against rape cases, several issues

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Delhi girl Anu Dubey, who was protesting near the Parliament against the alleged rape and murder of a veterinary doctor in Ranga Reddy, has promised to launch protest for other rape victims. She also added that her protest is not against only the rape of the vet in Ranga Reddy but 'against other incidents of violence against women taking place since 2012.' Anu Dubey raised questioned on several other issues like bribery, etc. The burnt body of the doctor was found at Shadnagar outskirts in the Telangana's Ranga Reddy district. As per the preliminary probe, the police suspect that the veterinary doctor was sexually assaulted. Yesterday, another charred body of an unidentified woman was found in the outskirts of Shamshabad near Siddula Gutta Temple.

This session is unconstitutional, illegal: Fadnavis after walking out from State Assembly

Mumbai, Nov 30s (ANI): After the BJP MLAs walkout from State Assembly session ahead of floor test in Maharashtra, former chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said that this session is unconstitutional and illegal and appointment of Pro-tem Speaker was also unconstitutional. He furthers said, "We are going to submit a letter to the Governor asking him to suspend the proceedings of the House, and that the House should follow the Constitution." Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray-led government has cleared the floor test in assembly.

RBI files application for bankruptcy proceedings against DHFL

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has filed an application to initiate insolvency proceedings against mortgage lender Dewan Housing Finance Ltd (DHFL). The application was filed with Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). An interim moratorium will start from the date of filing of the application till its admission or rejection, said the central bank in a statement. On November 20, the RBI superseded DHFL's board of directors and appointed former banker R Subramaniakumar the administrator.

Speaking on the current GDP problem in India, Congress leader Manish Tewari on Saturday said that the economy has collapsed not because of economic reasons but because of administrative reasons. Yes Bank to raise Dollar 2 billion through preferential allotment of shares

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Private sector lender Yes Bank has decided to raise up to two billion dollars (about Rs 14,300 crore) through preferential allotment of shares. Eight new investors have expressed interest in acquiring a fresh stake in the bank, according to a late night communication to stock exchanges issued after a marathon meeting of the board of directors on November 29. These include three institutional investors and five family offices. However, Yes Bank said that discussions are still on and will conclude shortly. None of the investors will be allotted equity shares such that their holding exceeds 25% of the bank's share capital. The preferential allotment will be subject to regulatory and statutory approvals. According to rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), any acquisition of shareholding or voting rights of five per cent or more will be subject to obtaining prior approval from the regulator. Air quality improves to 'satisfactory' in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): A layer of smog blankets Delhi on November 30. Additionally, the air quality of national capital also took a major hit due to a combination of firecracker emissions, stubble burning and unfavourable meteorological conditions in past one month. According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) data and System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), major pollutants in Delhi's Lodhi Road area were PM 2.5 at 91 and PM 10 at 91 both in 'satisfactory' category. Higher value of AQI indicates greater level of air pollution and health concern. New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): While the discovery might sound strange, but the shape of community parks is linked to the mortality risk of residents living around them.Some community parks are square, a reflection of the city block they're located at -- and a new study has found that irregularly shaped parks reduce the mortality risk of residents living near them.They found that residents in census tracts with more connected, aggregated and complex-shaped green spaces had a lower mortality risk.Researchers explained that the complexity in the shape of the park was positively associated with lower mortality risk.

World's tallest statue of lord Hanuman being installed in Indore: Kailash Vijayvargiya
