Models walk on ramp to promote Gujarati artisans

Rajkot (Gujarat), Feb 10 (ANI): Handicraft exhibition was held in Rajkot by Gujarat government. Various stalls of crockery, handicrafts were put on display during the exhibition. Models walked on the ramp to promote the work of local artisans. A participant said,"We walked on ramp here promoting the locals artists. It was a golden opportunity to promote them. It gave us happiness." Young models walked on the ramp wearing indigenous Gujarati textile.

AAP should blame their actions and shouldn't cry over EVMs: Manoj Tiwari

New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari on exit polls stated that Aam Aadmi Party should blame their actions and should not cry over EVMs. "We are saying why we are crying about EVMs. If AAP wins then EVMs are fine and if BJP wins then EVMs are bad. If we were not able to win in Jharkhand, did we blame the EVMs? Blame your actions," said Manoj Tiwari. "Why are AAP people getting upset, despite the exit poll giving them 44 seats? For now, they have been restless to blame EVM. This exit poll is till 3 pm, followed by voting at 7-7: 30 pm. BJP is going to form government with 48+ seats," he further added.

Voter turnout in Delhi assembly polls was 62.59%: EC

New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh informed that the voter turnout in Delhi was 62.59%, which is about 2% more than last Lok Sabha elections. "The voter turnout in Delhi was 62.59%. It is about 2% more than the last Lok Sabha elections. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Ballimaran assembly constituency at 71.6 per cent, while the lowest voter turnout was recorded in Delhi Cantonment at 45.4 per cent," said Delhi CEO.

Smoke enters wards at Bengaluru hospital after short circuit

Bengaluru, Feb 09 (ANI): Fire Department informed that smoke entered wards at Sagar Hospital in Bengaluru, following a short circuit in the UPS room at the hospital on February 09. Patients have been shifted from the site of incident as a precaution. No fire has been reported. The situation is under control now.

6 dead, 40 injured after bus catches fire in Odisha

Brahmapur (Odisha), Feb 09 (ANI): At least 6 passengers died after a fire broke out in a moving bus in Odisha's Brahmapur. The accident occurred in Ganjam district. Around 40 passengers sustained severe injuries in the horrific accident. Injured were rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital following the incident. Further investigation is underway.
