Locals protest after body of minor girl found in Nagpur

Nagpur (Maharashtra), Dec 09 (ANI): People in Nagpur held protest after body of a 5-year-old girl was found in Maharashtra's Kalmeshwar area on December 08. A 32-year-man is accused of allegedly attempting to rape and killing the girl. A case has been registered and the accused has been arrested.

Bangladesh Navy Chief receives guard of honour in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 09 (ANI): Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury received guard of honour in Delhi on Dec 08. He met Indian Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh. He is on a five-day visit to India. He will also visit Naval institutions outside Delhi including the Southern Naval Command in Kochi where he will see the training methods of the Indian Navy. Admiral Chowdhury will also visit the Eastern Naval Command in Vishakhapatnam where he will visit warships.

Chhattisgarh man alleges social boycott by villagers

Jashpur (Chhattisgarh), Dec 09 (ANI): Uttam of Ara Ketar village, Jashpur has alleged social boycott by villagers after a dispute with manager of school he was running. The Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Pralhad Joshi said that the bill will get nod from both the Houses of the Parliament. Equity indices largely flat, auto and metal stocks gain

New Delhi, Dec 09 (ANI): Equity benchmark indices were flat during early hours on Monday with auto and metal stocks in focus. At 10:15 am, the BSE S-P Sensex was up by 21 points to 40,466 while the Nifty 50 edged higher by 11 points at 11,933. Sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were mixed with Nifty FMCG, IT and realty in the negative zone but Nifty metal and auto gained by 0.94 per cent each.
