Only Indians were deported while people from Sri Lanka, Nepal and Cameroon are still there.

Amritsar (Punjab), Oct 18 (ANI): Despite Punjab government's ban, the incidents of stubble burning is continuing in many parts of the state. Over 100 cases of stubble burning have been reported so far. An FIR has also been filed against the defaulters. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has claimed that stubble burning in neighbouring states is one of the main causes of air pollution in the national capital.

Hisar (Haryana), Oct 18 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Haryana's Hisar stated that it is extremely important that the old systems of water management should be revived so that it can be used in both recycling household water and irrigation. "It's imperative that we revive the old systems of water management which used to exist in villages. We want to create systems that can help in recycling household water and which can be used for irrigation. And I'm hopeful that the country will be successful in doing so by 2024," said PM Modi. New Delhi, Oct 18 (ANI): Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh along with Army Chief General Bipin Rawat attended the launch of 'Indigenous Defence Equipment Exporters Association' at Constitution Club of India in Delhi on October 18. While addressing the event, Admiral Karambir Singh focused on 'collective military competency' and said, "We want to learn from others. There is something called 'collective military competency' and this is what Indian Navy and India believes in. It is not necessary that one nation has all the capacity or competency. We've to learn from each other. We need to learn to work together. We have got Bangladesh and Indonesia who know a lot about 'HADR', for instance. Seychelles and Mauritius are making efforts towards marine ecology and conversation. Myanmar is good example of indigenous ship building. So, we look at collective military competency. "

Gwalior (MP), Oct 18 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Animal Husbandry Minister Lakhan Singh stated that strict action will be taken against those who locked up the 17 cows in a government school in Gwalior which later led to their death due to starvation. Speaking on the matter, Lakhan Singh said, "I have spoken to the concerned officials, police have registered an FIR. Strictest action will be taken." Carcasses of as many as 17 cows were found in a government school in Samudan village in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. Incident came into light on October 16.
New Delhi, Oct 18 (ANI): Army Chief General Bipin Rawat along with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh attended the launch of 'Indigenous Defence Equipment Exporters Association' at Constitution Club of India in Delhi on October 18. While addressing the event, Rawat said, "We are now gradually becoming an export oriented defence industry and our defence export which currently range in the region of just about Rs 11, 000 crores annually is set to grow to approximately Rs 35,000 crores by the year 2024."
Mumbai, Oct 18 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, Veer Savarkar grandson of Ranjeet Savarkar slammed Asaduddin Owaisi and said that he is such a communal man that he has forgotten his forefathers. "Owaisi is such a communal man that he has forgotten his forefathers. I advise him to follow Savarkar's beliefs that keep religion in your house, when you are out in public, you are not a Hindu or a Muslim but an Indian. Savarkar expected everyone to enter Parliament by keeping caste, religion, sex etc outside. You won't find a more secular man than Savarkar," said Grandson of Veer Savarkar.
Asansol (West Bengal), Oct 18 (ANI): National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team recovered all three bodies that got trapped in coal mine in Asansol's Kulti area. The incident occurred on October 13, when four people allegedly tried to dig the mine illegally, during which three got trapped inside it. The coal mine reportedly consists of poisonous methane gas and after getting trapped, all the 3 persons lost their consciousness due to its effect. The entrance of the mine is narrow so Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) was trying to widen the entrance to rescue them.
