Bhandara (Maharashtra), Oct 13 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 13 addressed a public rally in Maharashtra's Bhandara. While addressing the gathering, he said that Rs 25 lakh crore will be spent for infrastructural development in the villages across the country. "The rural economy of the country is now being given as much attention as never before. Already the work is going on the roads of the village. Now in the coming years, Rs 25 lakh crore will be spent to develop infrastructure in the villages. The money will also be used to construct modern storage centres for crops," PM Modi said.

Saharsa (Bihar), Oct 13 (ANI): Workers of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) got into a violent argument on Sunday during party's election rally in Saharsa district of Bihar. The election rally was held for the Simri Bakhtiyarpur assembly constituency by-poll. Party leader Tejashwi Yadav was also present at the rally. Tejashwi had recently returned to politics after being absent from active politics post the Lok Sabha elections in which his party RJD performed poorly.

Sibal said, "If the union leaders make statement like this then I understand that they don't consider the seriousness of current economic situation. Jammu, Oct 13 (ANI): Over 1,500 students from 32 different colleges and universities participated in the 'Sangam Youth Festival' being organised by the Indian Army in collaboration with Jammu University in a bid to spread the message of peace, prosperity, communal harmony and national integration. Northern Army commander Lt General Ranbir Singh also attended the five-day event. He had also inaugurated the event on Friday. A total number of 35 events, including outdoor and indoor activities were planned. Students also showcased their performances in sports, cultural and fine arts.
