His medical examination is underway. Probably doctors have adviced to bring his BP in control, that's why he has been temporarily admitted in hospital. Whenever doctors declare him fit, he will leave with ED officials." Youth Congress president, Sriniwas said, "His health has gotten worse because of the harassment he has been subjected to. These people have done it deliberately with political intent. Doctors have adviced him to stay here in hospital" Congress Leader DK Shivakumar got arrested on September 03 by Enforcement Directorate (ED). He has been arrested by the agency under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

New Delhi, Sep 04 (ANI): Eating 150 grams of blueberries daily reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease by up to 15 per cent, claim researchers. The research team from UEA's Department of Nutrition and Preventive Medicine, Norwich Medical School, said that blueberries and other berries should be included in dietary strategies to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease - particularly among at-risk groups. It's widely recognised that lifestyle changes, including making simple changes to food choices, can also help, reported the study published in the journal, 'The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.' This may be because blueberries are high in naturally occurring compounds called anthocyanins, which are the flavonoids responsible for the red and blue colour in fruits. The team investigated the effects of eating blueberries daily in 138 overweight and obese people, aged between 50 and 75, with Metabolic Syndrome. New Delhi, Sep 03 (ANI): Dinesh Madan has been charged with Rs 23,000 as challan by Gurugram Traffic Police. He said, "I wasn't wearing helmet and didn't have Registration Certificate (RC).Traffic Police asked me to give him my scooty's key but I denied. Immediately he printed a challan of Rs 23,000 and seized my vehicle. Value of my scooty is around Rs. 15,000. I even got a copy of RC on Whatsapp from home but by then he had printed challan. The amount could have been less if he would have waited for a while. I want that fine should be relaxed. From now on, I will always carry my documents." Earlier, the Ministry of Road Transport notified the provisions of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019. The MVAwas implemented from September 01.

Kolkata, Sep 03 (ANI): After an arrest warrant was issued against cricketer Mohammed Shami in a domestic violence case. His estranged wife Hasin Jahan reacted on court's order and thanked the almighty and Indian judiciary for giving her justice. "I am thankful to Allah and the Indian Judiciary, which proved that law is same for all. I have been fighting for over 1.5 years, I got disappointed some times," said Jahan. Jahan also urged the court to consider her alimony so that she can live her life easily with her child. An arrest warrant was issued on September 3 against cricketer Mohammed Shami in a domestic violence case registered against him by his estranged wife. He has 15 days to surrender, according to a court in Kolkata's Alipore.

Gurugram (Haryana),Sep 03 (ANI): Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Ajit Jogi slammed state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel over his son Amit Jogi's arrest over allegation of cheating. Lambasting Baghel he alleged that the Chhattisgarh CM is using law and order into his hands. "Bhupesh Baghel has lost his composure, he thinks that Chhattisgarh police is above the judiciary. Three months back, Chhattisgarh High Court debunked all the allegations on Amit Jogi." He said. "Baghel is scared that my participant is submitting his nomination from Dantewada and he is going to lose the election from there," Jogi added. Amit Jogi has been accused of lying on his election affidavit about his birthplace. Amit Jogi was arrested from his house in Bilaspur today.

Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Sep 03 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Police on Tuesday arrested Amit Jogi from his residence in Bilaspur. Amit Jogi is the son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi. Police arrested him in a case of alleged cheating and furnishing false details in his affidavit in the 2013 assembly election. Further details are awaited. While speaking to mediapersons, a police official said, "It is the matter of 2013 assembly election. For the time of nomination he filled false details in his affidavit."

Guwahati (Assam), Sep 03 (ANI): Teachers and junior doctors of Guwahati Medical College Hospital staged a protest against the killing of 73-year-old Dr Deben Dutta in Teok tea garden in Jorhat district. Several medical services have been put at halt. Dr Dutta was allegedly beaten to death by a tea garden worker's family along with some others after the worker died during treatment at a hospital in Teok Tea Garden.
