The one who is in charge of the party is the coach but the captain also has his place. There should be a relationship of trust and understanding between these three. Whatever I said I asked to win. Uttarakhand Polls: 601 grounds, 277 buildings identified for campaigning, says CEC Chandra

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Dec 24 (ANI): Ahead of the Assembly polls in Uttarakhand, the high-level team of the Election Commission of India (ECI) held a meeting with representatives of political parties under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra in Dehradun on December 24. “Earlier, there used to be 1,500 voters at a polling booths but because of the situation of COVID, it has been reduced to 1,200. 623 new polling booths have been set up across the state and the total polling booths will now be 11,647,” said CEC Sushil Chandra. “601 grounds and 277 buildings have been identified for campaigning. It'll be the responsibility of SDMA and local police to maintain social distancing. Candidates can book them online and they will be allotted based on first come first serve basis,”

New Delhi, Dec 06 (ANI): To celebrate 75 years of Independence, Delhi Government will organise a grand play on Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar’s life on January 5 at Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium, announced CM Kejriwal on death anniversary of Father of Constitution. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “Well-known personalities are related to this play, 50 shows will be held, it will be free for the public. India reports 8,306 new COVID infections, 211 deaths in a day

New Delhi, Dec 06 (ANI): India reported 8,306 new cases, 211 deaths in the last 24 hours. Death toll stands at 4,73,537. The country also reported 8,834 recoveries in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery rate at 98.35 per cent. 1,27,93,09,669 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
