The roofs of the houses, roads and trees are all covered in white snow. According to IMD, minimum and maximum temperature in Shimla on January 21 will be 1 digree and 8 digree respectively.
Patna (Bihar), Jan 21 (ANI): While addressing a press conference, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan informed that One Nation, One Ration Card scheme to be implemented by June 1 this year. "We will implement 'One Nation, One Ration Card' scheme by 1st June in the whole country. Under this scheme a beneficiary will be able to avail benefits across the country using the same ration card," said Ram Vilas Paswan.

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Instagram has dropped the IGTV icon from the home screen of the app because not many users were using it. The company told TechCrunch that most people are finding IGTV content through previews in Feed, the IGTV channel in Explore, creators' profiles, and the standalone IGTV app. Hence, the separate icon on the top right corner of the home screen has been removed. To enable more users to easily post long-form videos, Instagram also added a new feature that allows users to post IGTV videos right from the main app's IGTV feed video uploader.

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): A Delhi court on Monday informed senior advocate HS Phoolka, who is representing the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots in several cases, that the judge has received a letter which gives a death threat to the senior counsel. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Harjyot Singh Bhalla asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file a response on the issue related to a death threat to senior counsel. "During the hearing of Tytler case, the judge informed me that a letter was received which mentions my name and showed extracts of the letter which gives the threat to kill me," Phoolka said. However, Phoolka said that he has received several such threats in the past and that these things will not distract him. "I'm not going to be distracted by it but writing threat letter to a judge is very serious matter. These people have been threatening witnesses. The judge has sent letter to Delhi High Court. I'll meet Chief Justice of high court, asking for strict action," he sai

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Congress leader Digvijaya Singh visited the Shaheen Bagh area in Delhi where people are protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) for over a month. New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): A team of researchers has conducted a detailed study on how leaving school and getting a job can lead to a drop in the amount of physical activity while becoming a mother is linked to increased weight gain. The study focused on the changes in physical activities, differences in diet and its result in body weight as young adults move from academics to become a parent. As many leave the stage of adolescence, people tend to put on weight, which is a result of changes in diet, and physical activity. The team conducted two studies, which studied the transition from high school into employment, and then that of becoming a parent. The first study found that leaving high school was associated with a decrease of seven minutes per day of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity. Srinagar, Jan 20 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir's DGP Dilbag Singh on January 20 informed that police neutralised three terrorists in an encounter including Hizbul Mujahideen's top commander in Shopian. "Today in Shopian, we neutralised 3 terrorists. One of them, their commander Wasim Ahmed Wani was active since 2017 and was on a top position in Hizbul Mujahideen. He had 19 FIRs against him and was also involved in killing of 4 civilians and 4 cops," said JandK DGP Dilbag Singh. "The second was Adil Sheikh and the third is being identified as Jahangir," DGP Dilbag Singh further added.
