Google Maps introduces 'Trips' tab to remind of previous vacations

New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): Google Maps will soon roll out a new Trips tab in timeline on Android that can present customers an abstract of previous holidays and complete kilometres travelled. According to Mashable, Google Photos will quickly be receiving timeline as nicely that can enable customers to see the paths they took on a day, alongside images. The users may see and share previous journey itineraries and eating places. They will also get an option to have obtained confirmations, in their Gmail by tapping on the Trips tab on the desktop web site, google.com/journey. The Trips tab in the timeline on Google Maps will present an estimate of locations and routes the user could have been to and could have taken, primarily based in one's location in the historical past. Hyderabad Police solves infant kidnapping case within 6 hrs of abduction

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (ANI): Hyderabad Police recovered a two-month-old baby girl within 6 hours of abduction and handed over the baby to her mother. Police arrested a man, his wife, and sister for committing the crime in Falaknuma area. Commissioner of Police of Hyderabad, Anjani Kumar said, "Hyderabad Police recovered a two-month-old girl within 6 hours of her abduction. A complaint was filed and our team investigated immediately in the matter. We arrested a man, his wife, and sister for committing the crime in Falaknuma area. The accused have been sent to jail."

Panjab University professor traces roots of 1857 revolt slain soldiers

Chandigarh, Nov 13 (ANI): A professor of Panjab University traced identities of Ajnala skeletal, which was excavated in the year of 2014 from a well in Ajnala near Amritsar. Most of Ajnala teeth belonged to adult males between 20-50 years of age. According to historical accounts, victims of 26th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry were killed in 1857 at Ajnala came from states of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Awadh.

Routine testing for COVID-19 can make surgery safer: Study

New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): Routine testing patients for COVID-19 before major surgery could reduce the risk of respiratory complications and save lives, a new study revealed. Researchers working together around the world found that using a nasal swab test to confirm that asymptomatic patient was not infected with SARS-CoV-2 was associated with a lower rate of postoperative complications. The main benefit was seen before major surgery and areas with a higher rate of COVID-19. Swab testing gave an opportunity for surgeons to identify asymptomatic infected patients and postpone their operation, avoiding the severe risk of COVID-19 complications after surgery. Routine testing also helped to prevent cross-infection from patients with no symptoms to other elective surgical patients upon admission to hospital. The COVIDSurg toolkit will support individual hospitals, regions, and countries during a major global reorganisation of surgical services during the pandemic and beyond.

Huge crowd flout social distancing norms in TN's Madurai as Diwali nears
