CAT 2017-18: Answer Keys And Objection Form Released

CAT 2017 Question Paper and Objection Form is now live. Deadline to submit objection form is 2 pm on December 09, 2017 says the official announcement.

The (IIM) Lucknow has released the answer keys and Objection Form for the 2017 exam held on November 26. 2017 Question Paper and Objection Form is now live. Deadline to submit objection form is 2 pm on December 09, 2017 says the official announcement.

How to check Answer Keys: You will have to log in to your account on 2017 website created at the time of registration. There they could access the question paper, answer key and the objection form. Once the objection is submitted, an expert committee of the will be checking the same after the deadline. If an objection is genuine and valid, the candidate will get a refund of their fee and the corrective measures taken by the IIMs will be applicable to all the candidates.

2017: Result Announcement And Admission Process
The Institutes may declare the results in the second week of 2018. The list of the shortlisted aspirants for the next phase of selection will be announced on the website of the respective IIMs. Each will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. The for shortlisting vary among IIMs. Candidates will have to visit the admission hotlinks of the respective websites of IIMs for further information.

The IIMs shortlisting the candidates for the next round of selection may be independent of each other. The Applicants taking up the exam for the first time can go through the registration guide and video which is available on the official site. Keep in mind that the graduates must have at least 50% marks to be eligible to apply for 2017 and 45% for the graduates under reserved categories. There will be separate notifications from Ahmedabad, PGPEM & PGPPM Programmes of Bangalore, EPGP of Indore, and EFPM & EPGPM of Kashipur, PGP-ABM & PGP-SM of Lucknow, PGPWE of Raipur, PGDHRM of Ranchi, EPGP of Rohtak, PGPEX of RGIIM Shillong and PGPBM of Tiruchirappalli for their management courses such as PGP-FABM & ePGP.

Admission Process:

If Shortlisted…

If you are shortlisted for interviews by any IIM, kindly comply with the following verification: Mark sheets and Degree Certificate, Show all the mark sheets and submit attested copies to prove at the time of interview and If selected for a programme, produce original degree certificate and mark sheets of all semesters/years along with their attested copies for verification at the time of joining the programme.

And Soon-To-Be-Graduate: If you fall under the (SC, ST, NC-OBC and PWD), then you (if shortlisted) must show the original caste/class and/or disability certificate and submit a photocopy at the time of interview. Further, if a candidate is selected for a programme, the original certificate of qualifying degree and attested copy of the same must be submitted for verification at the time of joining a programme.

Those appearing for the final bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification examination, if shortlisted, must produce an original certificate from the Principal / Registrar / Director of the university/ institution confirming that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent (45% for SC, ST, and PWD) based on latest available grades/marks. He/she must submit an attested copy of the original certificate at the time of interview.

Note that the last date for submission of the mark sheet and the certificate is December 31, 2018. If not submitted, the authority will have to cancel the candidate’s provisional admission. Also it will also be cancelled if the certificate submitted is found to be fake or incorrect subsequently. (Source: IIM)
