5 drown in Visakhapatnam

In the first incident, three students drowned in the dam near Sambuvanipalem. The victims had gone to swim there with three others when the incident took place. The three others managed to swim to safety, police said.

The victims have been identified as K K Raju, R B Nishant and K Srinivas, police said.

In another incident in Devarapalle mandal in the district, N Sankara Rao (12) and K Santhosh Kumar (14) drowned in Sarada river near Tenugupudi village, police said.
