Air India starts direct Kolkata-Varanasi flight service

The Air India today started a direct flight service from here to Varanasi, a release issued by the airline said.

The airline operated an Airbus 319 aircraft in the Kolkata-Varanasi route.

On Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays and Sundays the Kolkata-Varanasi direct flight will fly, it said.

The Kolkata-Varanasi flight fulfils a long-standing demand for a direct air-link by Air India, the statement said.
