Two persons drown in a pond

Two persons drowned while taking bath in a pond in Rampur Khurd village in Bihar's Sitamarhi district today.

Confirming the incident, Pupri Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Kishore Kumar the deceased have been identified as Mohammad Naddaf (25) and Mohammad Asad (31).

Local villagers fished both the bodies out of the pond, the SDO said adding that bodies have been sent to Sitamarhi sadar hospital for post-mortem.
