Patna Pirates are the kabaddi team based in Patna and one the successful teams in Pro Kabaddi League and play their home matches at Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, Bihar. The team is led by star Raider Pardeep Narwal and coached by Ram Mehar Singh. Patna Pirates were founded in 2014 and it is owned by Rajesh V Shah. 
Patna Pirates are one of the first eight teams founded in 2014 and played the inaugural edition of Pro Kabaddi League. Patna Pirates has reached the semifinals of 2014 and 2015 editions while went on to win their first title in January 2016 beating U Mumba. Patna Pirates become the first team to successfully defended their title in June 2016 as they defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers. The Patna based franchise Kabaddi team has completed their hattrick of title in 2017, defeating Gujarat Fortunegiants. However, the 2018-19 edition of PKL has been contrasting for Patna Pirates as they were crashed out of the tournament in the group stages. This was also the first time when Patna Pirates were not able to qualify for playoffs. 
Patna Pirates are the only team in PKL history to play 100 matches. Pirates captain Pardeep Narwal, who is also known as Dubki King, is regarded as a star raider and one of the most successful raiders in PKL history with 858 raid points. Prior to the PKL 2019 auction, Patna Pirates retained Pardeep Narwal and Vikas Jaglan.
