Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Agri input company Rallis India, a Tata enterprise, on Tuesday reported an over 80 per cent year-on-year decline in its profit after tax at Rs 2 crore during the quarter ending December 2025.
The company's PAT (profit after tax) stood at Rs 11 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
In a regulatory filing, Rallis India said the quarter included exceptional items -- the additional gratuity provision on account of Wage Code implementation.
During the third quarter of FY26, the company reported a 19 per cent growth in revenue at Rs 623 crore compared to Rs 522 crores in the same period of the previous year, driven primarily by strong volume growth across businesses.

In a regulatory filing, HDFC Bank said, "The RBI, vide its communication dated January 20, 2026, has given approval for the re-appointment of Mr. Kaizad Bharucha as the Whole-time Director (Deputy Managing Director) of the Bank for a further period of 3 (three) years w.e.f. April 19, 2026."

Fair trade regulator CCI on Tuesday cleared Tata Steel's proposal to acquire a 50.01 per cent equity stake in Odisha-based Thriveni Pellets.
The development came after Tata Steel in December last year announced that it entered into a pact to acquire a majority stake in Thriveni Pellets Pvt Ltd for Rs 636 crore.
"The proposed combination relates to Tata Steel Limited's proposed acquisition of 50.01 per cent equity share capital of Thriveni Pellets Private Limited (TPPL) from Thriveni Earthmovers Private Limited," the regulator said in a release.
Tata Steel Limited is engaged in integrated steel manufacturing operations, ranging from mining to steelmaking to further processing. It is also engaged in the mining of iron ore and the production of iron ore pellets, sponge iron and crude steel.
TPPL is engaged in the sale of iron ore pellets in the country. TPPL's wholly-owned subsidiary, Brahmani River Pellets Ltd, is also engaged in production and sale of iron ore pellets in India.
