Optical fibre maker Aksh Optifibre today said it aims to raise $20 million from overseas markets.
"The members of the company at their annual general meeting (AGM) held on December 31, 2012 have unanimously approved the raising of funds to the extent of $20 million through international offerings," the company said in a notice to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today.
It did not detail how it plans to deploy the funds.
At 1:48 PM, shares of Aksh Optifibre were traded at Rs 17.50 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), up 2.9% from previous close.
