Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which has signed a worldwide alliance with Suzuki Motors in two-wheelers, has offered Bajaj Auto the technology to manufacture Suzuki scooters in India.

The offer is part of a global alliance which is being negotiated by the Kawasaki-Suzuki combine with Bajaj Auto and China Qingqi Group Ltd, the second largest two-wheeler manufacturer in China. If it fructifies, the alliance will control over 74 per cent of the global two-wheeler market in terms of volumes.
