City-based Care Hospitals has joined hands with Medtronic, a medical technology provider, to set up a Centre of Excellence for device implantation at the latter's hospital at Banjara Hills.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>Care group chairman and managing director B Somaraju said the new centre would train cardiologists in dual chamber pacemaker therapy and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) implants. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>Milind Shah, managing director of India Medtronic, said training and education of doctors were key to ensuring safe and efficient use of devices and therapies. Medtronic will set up more such training centres in the country, he added. </P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
