IT major Cognizant has acquired Belgium-based Hedera Consulting, a privately-held company specialising in business advisory and data analytics services in a number of industry sectors, to expand its consulting, business insight and digital transformation capabilities for clients in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The company did not disclose the value of the transaction.

Hedera Consulting will be part of Cognizant Consulting business unit, post acquisition. Its consultants and data scientists specialise in helping clients with growth strategy, innovation, marketing, sales and customer service.
