Dell Services to power technology backend for Dr Agarwal's Eye Hospital

Will provide cloud-based IT solution that includes ERP and hospital information system components

Dell Services today said it has entered into a strategic partnership with Chennnai-based Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital.

Dell will provide the eye-care specialty hospital chain a cloud-based IT solution that includes enterprise resource planning (ERP) and hospital information system (HIS) components. 

The partnership comes at a time when Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital is looking to establish separate line of optical businesses across India.

The cloud-based solution, launched exclusively for the India market, allows healthcare providers to quickly respond to increasing demands of branch expansion in a cost-effective manner, claims Dell.

“We were impressed by how Dell’s solution could modularise our IT while enabling operational excellence and higher patient/customer satisfaction, which is the end goal of any health care provider,” said Amar Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Dr  Agarwal’s Eye Hospitals. 

 

The eye-care specialty chain has about 50 centres across India and overseas.
