Food marketplace app Dishco, which recently raised funds from Anand Mahindra, has announced expansion. From Mumbai, Pune and Goa, it is planning to expand to seven cities, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Delhi by December.
“The business team will start restaurant acquisition from October 1,” said Jimmy Shaw, founder, Food Marshall, a company which runs Dishco.
The company currently lists signature dishes of 8,500 restaurants and plans to ramp it up to 20,000.
“We want to be in 11 cities by the end of FY16,” Shaw added. After this round of expansion, the company plans to go to Baroda, Indore, Kolkata and Chennai.
