Google to train JKC students

Google has signed an MoU for first time in our country under its education initiative

The Andhra Pradesh Society for Knowledge Networks (APSKNW) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Google India (P) Limited to train engineering students from Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKC) on latest technologies like mobile and cloud computing.

Google will also train the mentors of APSKNW, formerly known as Institute for Electronic Governance, and provide required software services and training material free of cost.

The MoU was exchanged on Tuesday between state information technology & communication minister, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, and Nelson Mattos, vice president Europe & Emerging Markets, Google.

According to an official press release, Google has signed an MoU for first time in our country under its education initiative.
 

On the occasion, the minister advised Google to build its own office campus in the area allotted by the Andhra Pradesh government.
