Greatship (India), a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Eastern Shipping Company has entered into a joint venture with DOF Subsea ASA, Norway. The joint venture--Greatship DOF Subsea --will focus on subsea project opportunities in the Indian subcontinent.
Ravi Seth, MD Greatship said, “We are very bullish on the prospects of offshore oilfield development off the East Coast of India and we expect the JV to be a leading player in the subsea construction domain.”
DOF Subsea’s core business is execution of complex subsea operations down to the depth of 4,000 meters. The company employes more than 800 skilled employees worldwide, 25 offhore vessels, 31 ROVs, 1 AUV/UUV systems and diving spreads.
