GUVNL cuts fuel surcharge by 20 paise

The apex state power utility, in the state, Guajrat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) has decided to reduce fuel price and power purchase adjustment (FPPPA) charges by 20 paise for all categories of consumers in Gujarat for a period of three months starting April 1, 2012.

"For the consumption period of April - June 2012, the FPPPA charges will be charged at Rs 1.37 per unit lower by 20 paise from Rs 1.57 charged earlier," a GUVNL circular stated.
