Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 30.54% growth in its total sales for April 2013 at 2,59,560 units.
The company's total sales stood at 1,98,831 units in the corresponding month last year.
Motorcycle sales jumped 51.35% to 1,23,240 units in April 2013 from 81,427 units in April 2012, HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of 16.11% in its scooter sales at 1,36,320 units from 1,17,404 units in April 2012, it said.
