HMSI Feb sales up 11%

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 10.87% growth in its total sales for February 2013 at 2,28,444 units.

The company's total sales stood at 2,06,043 units in the corresponding month last year.

Motorcycle sales jumped 30.69% to 1,08,553 units in February 2013 from 83,061 units in February 2012, HMSI said in a statement.

The company, however, reported a decrease of 2.51% in its scooter sales at 1,19,891 units from 1,22,982 units in February 2012, it said.
