Leading toll road operator IRB Infrastructure Developers' net profit for the quarter ended June 30 increased by 10.30% to Rs 182 crore against Rs 165 crore for the corresponding quarter of previous year on account of surge in revenue in BOT projects and construction. The company beat the Bloomberg estimate of Rs 166.3 crore.
Total income was up 36% at Rs 1,548 crore against Rs 1,137 crore. The total expenses increased to Rs 964.10 crore against Rs 681.84 crore, an increase by 41.39%. EBIDTA rose by 23% to Rs 805 crore against Rs 657 crore.
IRB's construction order book now stands at Rs 8,750 crore. The company, with a total of 20 BOT projects of which 13 are under operation, in a release said the order book gives good revenue visibility for the coming years.
