Kotak Mahindra Bank Q3 net up 32% at Rs 362 cr

Total income soars 25% to Rs 2,400 cr

Private lender Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a 31% jump in net profit at Rs 362 crore for the third quarter ended December 2012. It was Rs 276 crore in the same period a year ago.

The total income also soared 25% to Rs 2,400 crore as against Rs 1,923 crore in December 2011.

On quarterly basis, the gross NPAs were at 1.46% as compared to 1.61% in previous quarter.

The bank's stocks on BSE were trading 1.6% up at Rs 639 at 1300 hours.
