Mindtree provides IT services to SITA

SITA's SFS enables central finance shared function for all receivables and payables activities

Mid-size information technology (IT) services company Mindtree today said it is providing application support and evolutionary maintenance services to air transport communications and IT solutions firm SITA for the latter's new strategic finance system (SFS) platform.

SITA's SFS is based on Oracle's eBusiness Suite, and enables a central finance shared function for all receivables and payables activities across the company's global network of suppliers, airlines and airports.

"Mindtree will provide global Level two and three application support for SFS for a period of three years, including Hyperion and OBIEE, database administration and monitoring, consulting services and evolutionary maintenance to improve operational efficiencies, application enhancements, customisations and new report generation," the Bangalore-based IT services company said in a release.

"Mindtree's support for SITA covers more than 310 entities across 200 countries."

Mindtree has had a relationship with SITA for over seven years, and it operates and supports the company's billing and invoice systems for over five years.
