Minor fire at RIL's PB rubber plant in Vadodara

A minor fire broke out on Tuesday morning at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL)'s poly butadiene rubber plant in Vadodara, an official communique from the company stated.

The fire broke out in the finishing line of the plant in Vadodara.

"The fire was expeditiously brought under control by the fire fighters at the plant. No one has been injured in the incident," the company stated.

While the cause of fire is being investigated, production was not impacted as alternate finishing line was taken into production. Meanwhile, al other units at the RIL plant were functioning normally.
