Mtnl Posts 32% Drop In Net

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam has recorded a 32.5 per cent dip in net profit at Rs 877.16 crore for the financial year 2002-03 compared to Rs 1300.68 crore in the previous year. The company has also announced a 45 per cent dividend.

Income from services declined to Rs 5806.53 crore from Rs 6143.72 crore in financial year 2001-02.
