Sudhakar Gande, vice-chairman of Axis Aerospace & Technologies, and director, Jupiter Capital, has taken over the chairman of FICCI Karnataka State Council. Gande has over 20 years of experience in the areas of management, investment banking, aerospace and defence technologies, and venture development.
Listing FICCI’s activities and involvement in the areas of IT, telecom, manufacturing, healthcare, infrastructure and education as his priority areas, Gande said FICCI will work closely with the state government on the reforms agenda, deepen its engagement with the government to create a roadmap for economic and industrial development of Karnataka. FICCI will also work to highlight and address the issues and concerns hindering the progress of the industry.
In this regard, FICCI would submit a ‘Vision Document’ for the state to the government of Karnataka during his tenure.
Gande further added that he would work towards increasing the membership base of FICCI in the state and would provide an effective platform to voice their concerns and opinion before the policymakers on various issues affecting the industry.
