Nissan Group of India on Monday announced a price increase across its Nissan and Datsun range of models effective January.
The raise, which follows similar increases announced by Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, General Motors is done by the Japanese company to minimise the impact of escalating input costs, it said in a statement.

Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, “The price increase is to offset the rising input costs. The revision of prices will soften the negative impact and help the company stay competitive.”
Prices of Micra, Micra Active, Sunny, Terrano and Evalia sold under the Nissan badge and that of Go and Go+ sold under Datsun will see the increase.
