State-rum NMDC Ltd has said that it produced about 15.47 in million tonnes of iron ore between April and October, 2018 and sold 16.55 million tonnes, mainly from its Chhattisgarh mines.
The company sold less than it produced in Karnataka, while the offtake from Chhattisgarh was higher than production during the period.
NMDC has said production in Chhattisgarh was about 9.64 million tonnes (provisional) and sales stood at 11.72 million tonnes during the period. In Karnataka, production was 5.83 million tonnes and sales were 4.83 million tonne, as per revised information submitted by NMDC to the stock exchanges.
