The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) today announced the appointment of two key executives in its leadership team.
Manish Kumar will be joining NSDC as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Jayant Krishna will take up the new role of the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective July 1, 2016.
The selection committee chose the leadership based on merit and with an aim to bringing together the combined strength of two professionals, one hailing from the government sector with an added experience in the developments sector and the other from the private sector.
The key executives were selected from a list of 900 applicants. The selection committee went through a rigorous process and was supported by PeopleStrong before finalising the 2 names.
