NTPC and NPCIL will spend as much as Rs 15,000 crore to build new atomic plants in the next eight years. The two companies today signed an MoU to set up a joint venture company, in which NPCIL will hold a majority 51 per cent stake and NTPC will have the balance 49 per cent.
