Praj Ind profit falls 59% in Q1

Praj Industries posted a 59 per cent decline in its standalone net profit in the April-June quarter of the current financial year. The company's net profit fell to Rs 10.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 from Rs 25.33 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

It informed the exchanges that the net sales of the company was at Rs 93.67 crore for the April-June quarter of FY11 against Rs 126.42 crore for the corresponding quarter of FY10.
