Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has informed BSE that the Company has started the regular production and supply of Steel Wheel Rims to Tata Motors Ltd.
From its newly established manufacturing facility at Jamshedpur w.e.f. December 14, 2010. The Jamshedpur unit is having a production capacity of 1 million tube type and tubeless wheels per annum (pa) Tata Motors has already validated and approved the heavy commercial Wheels Rims of SSWL's Jamshedpur unit.
They said Jamshedpur plant of the company was inaugurated in July, 2010.
The shares of SSWL were trading 4% up at Rs 332 on the BSE at lunch hour in the afternoon.
