Syndicate Bank hikes term deposit rates

Manipal-headquartered public sector lender, SyndicateBank, has increased the interest rate for term deposits of 1 year to less than 2 years to 8.20 per cent, 2 years to less than 3 years to 8.25 per cent and 3 years to less than 5 years to 8.50 per cent.

The senior citizens will earn 0.50 per cent extra over and above the normal rates, the bank said in a statement.
