T-Systems sets up centre in Pune

T-Systems Intl, a core strategic division of Deutsche Telekom AG and one of Europe's leading service providers for ICT, has set up a 100 per cent subsidiary in Pune.
 
The unit will the prime international point of delivery of offshore IT projects and services for key customers of T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom AG.
 
According to a company release, T-Systems India is designed to be the prime offshore development centre that will be fully devoted to export of software and IT services.
 
The company plans to ramp up its manpower strength to 100 by December this year and to 1000 within 36 months.
 
As a strategic core division of the Deutsche Telekom AG, T-Systems, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, is a Euro 10.6 bn information and communication technology service provider in Europe.
