Roots Corporation Ltd (RCL), a subsidiary of The Taj Group, has appointed P K Mohankumar as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Mohankumar will lead the management team in consolidating current operations of Ginger Hotels across India and spearheading fast track growth and development in the domestic market, the company said in a release here.
Prior to taking up his current role, Mohankumar served as Chief Operation Officer of The Gateway Hotels & Resorts.
RCL operates basic hotel chain across the country under the brand Ginger Hotels.
At present, Ginger Hotel has 27 properties across India.
