Tata Chemicals Q3 net surges 36% to Rs 223 cr

A 36% jump in consolidated net profit of Tata Chemicals was seen for the quarter ended December 2011. It increased from Rs 164.5 crore in December 2010 to Rs 223.7 crore.

Total income also grew 32% to Rs 3,855.2 crore from Rs 2,919.7 crore in the year-ago period.

Company's stocks were trading at 2.2% apiece on BSE at Rs 359.
