Mumbai based, Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd today received approval from its board members for hiving off of its passive tower infrastructure undertaking.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>On 21 April 2008, Tata Teleservices had invited its members to approve by way of a postal ballot to sell or dispose off or transfer the passive tower infrastructure undertaking. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>Other telecom companies like GTL Infrastructure, Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel had earlier hived off the towers into separate companies to become asset light and concentrate on core business. </P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
