THDC signs MoU with Kerala electricity board for solar project

The project shall be located at Kasaragod district in Kerala and be commissioned within 12 months

THDC India Ltd, (formerly known as Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Ltd.), a Public Sector Unit diversifying into alternate energies, has signed a tripartite agreement for development of a 50 Mw solar photovoltaic (PV) project and sale of power with Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

The agreement was signed on Tuesday at Thiruvananthapuram by K Valsakumari, director (renewable energy & planning) of KSEB; C Kannan, director (finance), SECI and Deepak Sarwal, executive director (ED), THDC India Ltd. in presence of M Sivasankar, Secretary Power , Govt of Kerala. The project shall be located at Kasaragod district in Kerala and be commissioned within 12 months.
