IPCC report endorses India's call for climate justice: Bhupender Yadav

The Report notes that finance flows from developed to developing countries fall short of the levels needed to meet climate goals across all sectors and regions

Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav on Monday welcomed the Synthesis Report of the Sixth Assessment Cycle (AR6) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and said that the report summarises the state of knowledge of climate change, its widespread impacts, risks, climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Yadav said the report echoes the vision of ‘Mission LiFE’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2022 and the call for a global mass movement for inducing behavioural changes focused on “mindful and deliberate utilisation” of resources.
